As AHEA’s President, Karli Grant is responsible for bringing value to the Alliance’s membership through the organization’s vision and mission, providing resources grounded in quality assurance measures, and procuring technology to support institutions and their students’ success.

Ms. Grant is passionate about the ability of higher education to transform individual lives and the global community at large, and has been a frequent speaker at higher education conferences and in webinars. Additionally, she has served numerous times as an industry panel moderator and quoted resource in trade publications.

She possesses nearly 30 years of higher education and education technology experience. Prior to joining AHEA, Ms. Grant planned market strategies and lead the launching of new higher education software products at Campus Management Corp. (now Anthology) and Datatel, Inc. She also spent nearly a decade as a higher education administrator, having worked at three institutions in the areas of strategic enrollment management [SEM], student engagement and institutional advancement.

Ms. Grant holds a B.A. in Communications from Susquehanna University, a M.Ed. in College Student Personnel/Higher Education Administration from The Pennsylvania State University and a M.S. in Technology Management from George Mason University. She also volunteers her time as a college placement counselor for disadvantaged youth. She is a nature photography enthusiast, New England sports fan, and novice gardener who enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their dog.
