A key benefit of AHEA is use of the InspirED platform for collaboration, teaching and learning, and we want to ensure that as member, you have a comfort level with how to utilize InspirED. This four-part series will provide an overview of how to update your professional information and preferences, engage with other users and begin collaborating in the platform.
These free webinars include a brief demonstration of select features and are designed to help you “see and do”. You are encouraged to sign into the InspirED platform while watching each webinar to experience the topics in a hands-on fashion. Each session will be recorded so that all members may watch them, whether you are able to attend the live session or not.

Now that you have more familiarity with InspirED, it is time to gain deeper knowledge on how to design a course within the platform. The CollaboratED solution within InspirED provides both structure and flexibility for projects, as well as a common workspace in which collaborators can complete a course development project.
As a result of this session, you will:
- Understand the Milestone framework used to guide the course development process
- Identify the types of data inputs necessary for the completion of each Milestone
- Define a structure for managing potential course materials in the shared workspace
- Communicate with collaboration partners through the platform

What happens when a course development project is complete? How is that course approved, and where online can you deliver that course to your students? In addition to a collaboration solution, the InspirED platform includes a learning management solution, BlendED, which will be introduced in this webinar.
During this session, you will:
- Determine how best to share the completed course project information for review and/or approval
- Learn how to export the completed course materials into standardized templates for syllabus and course control documents
- Explore the relationship between CollaboratED and BlendED
